Good readers wanted for study to help dyslexics
Are you a good reader?
If yes, we want to meet with you for 2 hours to explore your reading strategies.
This is the first phase of a study designed to help people with dyslexia and other reading problems.
No instruments are involved. We will ask you questions about your experience of reading, have you imagine reading various ways, and have you test-read short pieces of text. In return, you will discover interesting things about how your own brain works.
There is no cost to participate in this study. You will not be paid.
Sessions take place on Thursdays at the EasyChangeWorks office on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. The office is located conveniently close to Interstates 580 and 980, just 1.2 miles from the Rockridge BART station. There is free parking a few blocks away. Map & directions The office is up a flight of stairs and is NOT wheelchair accessible.
